This solution aims to make the onboarding process as easy as possible by leveraging technology for remote KYC verification. Which involve the submission of identity documents, personal information and advanced identity verification methods, like facial recognition etc., through the mobile app. It aligns with the overall goal of providing a user-friendly digital banking experience without the need for physical branch visits.

For digital banks like OrangeNXT, they typically provide account statements, transaction history, and other relevant documents through mobile app itself. Customers can often access and download these documents electronically without the need to visit a physical branch. For now, there is no provision of generating digital balance certificate which shall be made available in due course of time.

No, OrangeNXT is a completely virtual branch therefore, there is no such provision for customers/users of OrangeNXT to make cash/cheque deposits.

Being entirely digital platform, we do not provide counter facilities for customers but rather we have dedicated customer care representatives who can be contacted through a helpline number, email, and support ticket facilities built within the app.

The maximum amount a user/customer can transfer in a day may vary depending on account type and guidelines issued by Nepal Rastra Bank. i.e., The current global transaction limit is NPR 300k per transaction, with the same amount applying to both daily & monthly transactions, totaling NPR 3 million for the monthly limit.

Yes, you can easily create a savings account by providing the required information and completing the registration process within the app.

To check your account balance, log in to the app, and your balance will be displayed on the “dashboard” or in the "Accounts" section.

Absolutely! With our app, you can open a term deposit account with just a few taps and select the desired term length.

As of now, users can not apply for loans through the app, but we have the provision for it in the future.

As of now, users can not close their account opened in OrangeNXT app, however, they can make their saving account balance zero and discontinue using the app.

No, the users cannot withdraw cash from ATM now, but cardless withdrawal for users will be available soon.

Right now, the users can only use fonepay channel for transferring funds from their orangeNXT account.

For KYC verification, you will need a government-issued ID (e.g., Passport, Driver's license, Citizenship).

KYC verification through video usually takes a few minutes, but it may vary depending on the document (s) produced for verification, volume of requests, internet connectivity, etc.

Your KYC part is divided into three stages which are as follows:

  • Phone number verification: After you have verified your phone number, you are eligible for a credit/debit limit as displayed in your dashboard. The KYC validity is also displayed in the dashboard.
  • Self-verified or document verified: Your credit/debit limit along with the KYC validity period is also increased once your document has been verified.
  • Full KYC or V-KYC: This is a full-fledged account which unlocks many features as well as provides longer KYC duration and transaction limits.

You must have the original copy of your earlier submitted Nepal Government Issued ID (Passport, Citizenship, Driver's License). Follow these easy steps to complete your Video KYC.
